 Parents and Grands Need To Know So They Can Help Their Children. 
There is so much information out there and parents must see beyond the words and see the big picture. Hear from amazing people with a heart for children inform you of what is going on. You will hear from variety of speakers to empower you as a parent who wants the best for your child and you know part of that is you having knowledge. Please be in prayer as it means a lot for your family and our future. God bless.
Teacher: What are you most proud of? Veronica: ..protest for our library...we held a protest...had news coming,called everyone, it really showed my voice mattered...parents re-posted on fb and even teachers were proud as well knowing we weren't in class but we were doing the right thing Teacher: that causes me to think about your experience..what you said is you were empowered to use your voice you saw your voice had value. Also mention that end result wasn't quite what you expected. So for those who are watching and wondering, well if you used your voice and had the protest and it didn't go in your direction then how do you feel your voice was valued? And why is it even important to continue to persevere in this way and attempt to be "agent of change" what would you say to someone who is wondering because of the end result not being exactly the way you wanted. Is it still important to still use your voice and what did you learn from that experiences that that a participant can probably glean from? Veronica: ..it gave me the opportunity to show students you need to be the change. You need to be the one to have the change. You have to be the one to start. Teacher: Thank you for that Veronica: ...it showed students if i can do it you can do it. Teacher: ..even though end result is not what you'd like there was this collective build up of students being agents for themselves in here and having their voices heard. And there was space created for you to actually voice a concern and voice what you wanted and make demands of the system as well. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
