Defend the Child Not Just In Front of Abortion Mills But in Schools and Do Pray!

Just when we thought we saw the worst of leadership with Gov Northam on his logic of killing a baby after birth..leaders in various states are also being forced to see (their version of)  logic in what is being passed as to help the child:

In Colorado-A Sex Ed Bill Advances that is clearly about indoctrinating children and not giving parents ability to opt out.
"The Denver Post reports that the bill, backed by Planned Parenthood and The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), characterizes abstinence-only sex ed as "not comprehensive and inconsistent with the requirements" of the curriculum. The legislation also mandates that sex-ed classes include "medically accurate information about all preventive methods to avoid unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS"  and allow students to "to decide for themselves which preventative methods are best suited for their individual needs, beliefs and values."

Teachers would be required to include "the relational or sexual experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender individuals" in their lessons, without using "shame-based or stigmatizing language or instructional tools."
Jennifer Kraska, the executive director of the Colorado Catholic Conference, told the Catholic News Agency last week that the proposed legislation implies that "people or families with certain beliefs and teachings about sex, relationships and gender (like those of the Catholic Church) are basically wrong in their beliefs and teachings."
Here's an excerpt of an article from a Colorado legislator who is speaking out on the issue:"The bill categorizes human sexuality into four topics, then says that human sexuality instruction occurs when two or more of the topics are presented. As a result, when a teacher is presenting only the second topic, consisting of “sexual orientation, sexuality, or sexual activity”, the teacher is not — under the terms of the bill — providing “human sexuality instruction.”

This is not only bizarre, it’s also deeply misleading. Moreover, the bill asserts that parents need not be notified about any “programming” dealing with “gender, gender expression, sexual orientation or healthy relationships” when it occurs “outside the context of human sexuality instruction.” How can these topics be taught at school, yet occur outside the context of human sexuality instruction?” Any parent would feel hoodwinked by these linguistic gymnastics, and the sponsors should feel ashamed to have included them. Don’t be fooled by those who say that parents can simply opt out."

On to Texas...

Matthew 18:5-6 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

Can you guess if Planned Parenthood likes Telemedicine for Texas Mental Health?

In Texas: New Bill SB10 to furnish Mental Health Help in Education..but these words below are troubling because  parents seem to be out of the loop.

(2) enhance the state's ability to address mental health care needs through stronger collaboration and institutional alignment of the health-related institutions of higher education listed in Section 113.0052; (3) improve the effectiveness and efficiency of mental health care services delivered in this state; (4) facilitate access to mental health care services through telemedicine and other cost-effective, evidence-based programs; (5) improve mental health and substance use disorder research efforts conducted by institutions of higher education; and (6) improve and expand the behavioral health workforce through training and development opportunities between the health-related institutions of higher education listed in Section 113.0052 and community mental health providers (see link to complete bill here)

In 2014, Alabama also was being forced to accept a Comprehensive Mental Health Program....here were the concerns by Linda Murphy on Tommy Bice's Unified And Comprehensive Learning Supports.

According to Linda Murphy, a nationally renowned Educator/Activist, who has studied Dr. Bice's Comprehensive Counseling Guidance Proposal (as this is part of the Unified Supports)-- "This is a dangerous expansion of the authority of public schools into the private lives of students, which has never been allowed in American schools. This plan sets goals for changes in students’ emotions, feelings, attitudes, values and beliefs. The area educators call the "affective domain" (from Blooms Taxonomy)."

This week the State of Texas bill SB10 is being railroaded right under parents noses fast tracked unless parents wake up. The school shootings fix they hope can happen with SB10 may unwittingly do more harm to more students than fix the problem as they are dealing with attitudes, values and beliefs and where parents are not a part of the equation and the fix most likely is telemedicine!
(6) improve and expand the behavioral health workforce through training and development opportunities between the health-related institutions of higher education listed in Section 113.0052 and community mental health providers
