Cybersecurity Attack on Judge Roy Moore, an Example of Shifting Blame To Russia When The Destroyer Is Within--Was It Used On Others?

  Calling A Good Man Evil--A man with a well known track record and used to being under the microscope whose biggest fault to many is that he knows the key to keep this nation free (wielded in the US Constitution).  Aptly, he lives in a state who says We Dare Defend Our Rights and he does it eloquently.
Allegations of impropriety made headline news and it did not matter that there were too many flaws in the allegations.  To the planners, truth was not an issue-- just throw doubts in Alabama's conservative voters then divide and call in their cavalry to stage a campaign for division.  Indeed they were very successful.  The race that Judge should have won was lost by a miniscule margin.  As  one said, many did not vote because Judge Moore "may have done something".  We are human and in a very conservative state-the enemy knew how to push our buttons.
Here's a story of one of the button pushers--sadly it is a company whose purpose is to protect our country but they have tasted power and power can corrupt.

Russia has been blamed  for meddling in American elections since 2016. Now we know that Cybersecurity firm New Knowledge who was a supposed expert on this actually ran a “false flag” meddling operation against Judge Roy Moore of Alabama in his US Senate bid.  In the  Senate Intelligence Committee report --
"The second report — prepared for the Senate Intelligence Committee by researchers for New Knowledge, Columbia University and Canfield Research — emphasized this aspect of the Russian operation, saying, “The IRA created an expansive cross-platform media mirage targeting the Black community, which shared and cross-promoted authentic Black media to create an immersive influence ecosystem.”

The second report — prepared for the Senate Intelligence Committee by researchers for New Knowledge, Columbia University and Canfield Research — emphasized this aspect of the Russian operation, saying, “The IRA created an expansive cross-platform media mirage targeting the Black community, which shared and cross-promoted authentic Black media to create an immersive influence ecosystem.”

Sadly this is very telling of what New Knowledge and Jonathon Morgan actually did with Judge Moore through Social media:

“Social media have gone from being the natural infrastructure for sharing collective grievances and coordinating civic engagement to being a computational tool for social control, manipulated by canny political consultants and available to politicians in democracies and dictatorships alike,” the report said.

To top it off Jonathon Morgan actually posted a tweet about the Russians bots knowing full well it's a lie and then says his involvement (when exposed) was as a cyber-security researcher!!  The Hamilton 68 that was supposedly for use to track the Russian bots--now being used as bots against a US Senate candidate??!

The chief executive of cybersecurity firm New Knowledge, Jonathan Morgan, was one of the operatives on a self-described “false flag” operation meant to link Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore to Russian bots in order to boost his Democratic opponent, now-Sen. Morgan’s firm also recently authored a report on that very topic for the Senate Intelligence Committee.

"The project’s operators created a Facebook page on which they posed as conservative Alabamians, using it to try to divide Republicans and even to endorse a write-in candidate to draw votes from Mr. Moore. It involved a scheme to link the Moore campaign to thousands of Russian accounts that suddenly began following the Republican candidate on Twitter, a development that drew national media attention.

“We orchestrated an elaborate ‘false flag’ operation that planted the idea that the Moore campaign was amplified on social media by a Russian botnet,” the report says."

BREAKING: Here’s The After-Action Report From the Alabama Senate Disinformation Campaign
The following is a leaked copy of the secret after-action report from the Alabama Senate disinfo campaign known as Project Birmingham. The New York Times broke the story in a December 19 article. The Times article refers to this report, but it hasn’t been publicly available until now. The images have been tweaked to remove watermarks and metadata.
UPDATE: A January 6 Washington Post article corroborates the authenticity of these documents. It says the entire document is 12 pages, labeled “Project Birmingham Debrief,” and dated Dec. 15, 2017. Six pages are listed below, which means six pages are missing. (When I received the leak I wasn’t sure how complete it was.) The New York Times and Washington Post have copies of the full report but have not shared it with the public.

Secret campaign to use Russian-inspired tactics in 2017 Ala. election stirs anxiety for Democrats 1-6-2019 Washington Post
Project Birmingham got its funding from Internet billionaire Reid Hoffman, who emerged as a leading underwriter of Democratic causes after the 2016 election. While acknowledging his money ended up paying for Project Birmingham, Hoffman said he did not know how his funds were used until details began to emerge in the New York Times and The Post.
Hoffman gave $750,000 to a progressive technology start-up called American Engagement Technologies — founded by Mikey Dickerson, a former Obama administration official — that aimed to help Democrats, according to a person familiar with the finances who spoke on the condition of anonymity. This person said Dickerson used $100,000 of that to hire New Knowledge, a Texas-based social media research firm, to work in Alabama in support of Jones during the special election in December 2017.

Really the Washington Post title above is appropriate because there is reason to believe all the talk about Russia Russia is a disinformation campaign made by corrupt companies such as New Knowledge.  That maybe why President Trump is wanting to know more about Crowdstrike...
