Sample of the Bait and Switch tactic in one state.  Alabama Vote on Amendment March 2020 to replace elected Board with appointed who will remove Common Core--exposed!!  Read:

Arne Duncan in his speeches to usher in Common Core used a wonderful school, George Hall Elem (who was doing so well that they narrowed the "achievement gap" and won a Dispelling the Myth Award).  After his Common Core State Standards Initiative the school as well as the entire state plummeted to the bottom read more....

Finally parents have rung the phone lines in the State of Alabama Legislature in 2019 that the Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh introduces bill to get rid of Common Core passed almost unanimously except of course by the Dems!  Then comes the bait and switch because the House Speaker Terri Collins who has in previous sessions always opposed getting rid of it--again does the same thing.
This time with a switch and bait which supposedly gets rid of Common Core by getting rid of the elected state board of ed and put in appointed board that they will vet!  Listen in the ""on the audacity of corruption this Sat Aug 3rd, as it is happening across the country.

Dr. Peg Luksik is a Pennsylvania teacher with over 35 years of experience in both special education and elementary education.  While in graduate school, Peg worked at the university’s psychometric testing center, where she administered, scored and interpreted the educational assessments used to diagnose both gifted and challenged children and determine their educational programming.  She has taught at every level from pre-school to college in regular classrooms, resource centers, self-contained special education classes, and in alternative educational settings.  She has trained teachers in curriculum and classroom management, written and evaluated curricula, authored several books on education issues, and hosted a nationally syndicated television program dealing with education in America.  Peg has also worked for the U.S. Department of Education, where her task was to review and evaluate education reform initiatives. Neil Mammen, a non-hyphenated first generation American immigrant is an Engineer during the day and an Apologist at night. As an engineer, he spends his time designing video and networking systems, computer chips and boards with TentmakerSystems.com and other US and international engineering companies. Neil was born in Ghana and grew up in Sudan and Yemen. He came to the U.S. for college and at 20 earned his BSEE in Computer and Electrical Engineering; at 22 he earned his MSEE in Solid State Physics and Computer Engineering. Alex Newman is an American journalist and consultant who writes about economics, finance, banking, business, and politics for diverse publications in the United States and abroad. He studied journalism, economics and political science at the University of Florida.

In addition to his own consulting firm, Alex has worked in market research, marketing, strategy, research, information gathering and consulting for international companies, non-profit organizations and various political campaigns. He is also the co-author of a book exposing some of the problems with today's public education system.


Lynne Taylor is the co-founder of PIE NC (Preserving Integrity and Excellence in Education), a retired private (homeschool) teacher, support group leader, business owner, wife and mom. Lynne is a gifted researcher, writer, and outspoken critic of the CCSS Machine's grasp on all levels in our nation.

Since 2009, Lynne has served as a frequent guest on nationwide radio and multimedia shows. Lynne has been awarded the 2011 Distinguished Educator from the National Society of High School Scholars, as well as  the 2016 L&B Network's (Lord and Bears) Torchbearer Award for educational advocacy. 

Lynne has appeared several times before the NC General Assembly in efforts to preserve freedom in education and fight Common Core.
