The picture above tells it all.  There are consequences to children being misled.   The little things that seemed unimportant to many today such as what is being taught little kids in Elementary School, MIddle School and on to High School and in our Libraries will have huge consequences.  The picture is very troubling and it is because of a minority that is very loud, vigilant and zealous.  But can you imagine if these examples are a sign of what is to come when more than half the majority thinks like they do?  It is important to be involved in politics. It almost seems ungrateful to God and to those who died for us to be free-- to not be informed and involved, as our government is a result of their blood, sweat and tears.  Through it we can help open blessings or curses.  Evil ways that are not stopped such as promotion of addictions like fentanyl, gambling and sex addictions (and the sexualization of young people) will lead to a demoralized society where anything goes and is ok...such as what we are seeing in the above picture.  Please do not be a part of letting more people fall into sin.  Your action or inaction makes a difference. 

​Call 334-261-0500 and tell Speaker Ledbetter and your House of Representative member to make sure to pass good legislation in HB385 Library Bill (more below) and stop bad legislation like the gambling bills that only benefit the owners of the casinos.  To say it helps anything without looking at the cost which to the family that will be destroyed means everything -- is Fool's Gold.  WE the people can help open and close the doors to evil disguised as progress.  In truth we can clearly see the progress nationally.  Let us defend Alabama.  Be sure to state your name and say you would like to send a message to your Representative 334 261-0500.

Be sure to also call your State Senator at 334 261-0800 and ask him as well as the Senate Pro Tem to make sure they  help HB385 pass it in time vs letting it die.

Legislators in Alabama have a way to put a stop but they must stand.  Adult librarians and Library Institutions should follow the law and the Library can not be exempt.  We must expect them to do the right thing--that is what good laws are about and good citizenship...unless Anarchy is the end game.  Look at Gaza, Venezuela...no we must stand and say NO to evil.   We are running around chasing our tails begging Nancy Pack to put these books in places where minors can't access them...but the question is why are they even in there?

SYNOPSIS: Under existing law, the use of any premises to distribute obscene material to minors is a public nuisance. This bill would further provide that the use of any premises to distribute to minors material that is harmful to minors is a public nuisance. Under existing law, the term "sexual conduct" is defined. This bill would further provide for the definition of "sexual conduct." Under existing law, certain obscenity laws do not apply to public libraries, public school libraries, college libraries, or university libraries, or the employees or agents of any such libraries. This bill would provide that these criminal obscenity laws do not apply to college or university libraries or their employees or agents, but do apply to public libraries, public school libraries, and their employees or agents. ​
